Durability: a topic to discussI'm not sure this question was already discussed or not but today i felt like posting about it.
In the past weeks we saw rose going in a (so far) interesting course. Many issues arrise with the constant stats/skills/balance updates (essencially many feel a bit lost and without knowing what to expect each week) but, overall, there was good ideas/upgrades added to the game. The new back items are a nice addition too, even if i hate most if not all (but thats a matter of taste i suppose).
So to the point. One aspect of the game that changed ( 2 times if recall right, one long ago and one more recently) and i really hate and cant fully understand is the big nerf on the durability on equipement. Altought it was said somewhere dura doesnt affect dodge the same way now, i cant understand why things are so low. Actually im not so sure about the relation between dura and dodge (or acc) nowadays. I cant obviously say this with a full knowledge but dura are overeall like around 20-30 for most of the stuff i see. I fail to understand why. Plus what use is a 8 dura (yes i saw many!) gear? How long would that item resist before breaking in an area like prison or ruins ? How many times would you need to repair it in a farming session?
Maybe nobody cares, maybe devs wont change it because im not one of the "voices they usually hear" but i felt i had to tell how absurd that system looks to me. Even most crafted gear is bad dura (look at the recent backs and tell me...).
Last note: if the idea is to sell the IM repair hammers i dont think its working good. Long ago i remember a thread Calaa started about what we would like to see in IM. Someone suggested an hammer that on repairing would add some dura each time to the item. That would certainly make more sense to me and more cash to rose.
Anyway, before all stop reading this: what are your thoughts? Do you like it thisway? Do you feel it should change? Do you simply just dont care? Just post your opinions!
Last last note: i wont probably get one but an explanation from Zep or someone would maybe help me understand this. If it was already given then care to tell me when and where? Thanks for reading.
